Set atop the rolling landscape of Alto Pass, Illinois, Alto Vineyards provides an intimate and naturally beautiful venue for your special event.
We offer indoor and outdoor spaces around the vineyard that showcase the beauty of our region. Features include our large indoor tasting room with ample seating, the rooftop Vine Deck, the pavilion with back deck, the Pergola or the Gazebo. We specialize in wedding ceremonies near the pond or in the vines.

Our Location in Alto Pass offers a great variety of spaces you can rent. You’ll be sure to find a unique spot for your reunion, corporate event, wedding reception, private part, etc! We have a big indoor Tasting room, but also multiple beautiful outside spaces. Check out our Pavilion, Vine Deck, Pergola, and Gazebo to find the perfect match for your private event! Weddings in the vines are for the couple who loves the tranquility of a pastoral setting.
Wedding in or near the Vines
With a capacity of 70 guests our beautiful vineyard and grounds offer an unmatched outdoor wedding. We offer a wedding platform that can be moved to the site of your choice. We provide a wedding circle to be enhanced with flowers, two wine barrels and 70 chairs for guests. You may want to rent one of our spaces for your reception and partake in our award-winning wines with a 15% discount on cases.
Tasting Room
Our 5000 square feet Tasting Room is a modern, spaciousness and inviting space for large gatherings. We feature tables and chairs for 100 at all times and can expand capacity to 250 guests. In addition to an expansive bar to serve our wines and drinks, we are equipped for music and have a wooden dance floor, a shop, and a food menu for your nonprofit, special gathering or business event.
Pavilion
Overlooking our pond and vineyard, our pavilion with attached porch is a perfect spot for a relaxed gathering of up to 75 family, colleagues and friends. Heaters are provided as needed.
Vine Deck
With a breathtaking view of the rolling Shawnee Hills, this beautiful covered deck is available for you and up to 75 guests to celebrate your special event.
Pergola
Shaded by the Big Oak Tree, the pergola offers a serene yet central location for parties of up to 30 people desiring an outdoor setting near the winery.
Gazebo
The gazebo faces an open lawn and is a perfect stage for a private musical event, wedding, or special performance. With seating for 8, this cozy vine-covered enclave also makes a great space for small private parties.
