Tom and Mark are an unlikely pair of friends since Tom was born in Arkansas and Mark was born in Germany! Fate must have brought them together because they love each others music and share a love of bluegrass as well. When they play together, it's a blend of the finest in Americana and singer/songwriter folk music. Tom picks 6 and 12 string guitars (and the occasional Ozark mouth harp) and Mark scratches that fiddle, is a mandolin virtuoso and is known to pick up a guitar when no one is looking. Their musical influences include John Prine, Bill Monroe (and many of the classic bluegrass pioneers) Nanci Griffith, Gordon Lightfoot, James Taylor, Johnny Cash and John Hartford just to name a few. Their repertoire is so extensive, they don't even know what they know! The name of the game is FUN, and you will have a blast with Tom and Mark each time you hear them!
