Our biggest and most spectacular event of the year occurs during grape harvest season. This year we celebrate 37 years in business and the 30th anniversary of the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. As a special event, we will feature a wine tasting paired with appetizers at 1:00. The cost will be $15 per participant and will feature a presentation about the history of Alto Vineyards and the establishment of the wine trail in 1995 by the family founders of both.

Music will be performed 2:00-7:00 at our stage and guests are invited to dance or relax around our scenic grounds and in our comfortable buildings.  Local artist and vendors will sell their products all afternoon. In addition to Alto Vineyards specialty grilled food prepared by our expert cooks, we will have food trucks serving up delicious food. The day ends with one of the most spectacular displays of fireworks in Southern Illinois by Falling Skies Pyrotechnics at 8:00 PM. Don’t forget your lawn chair!
