Harvest Festival

Our biggest and most spectacular event of the year occurs during grape harvest season and celebrates our 36th years of business. Music will be performed all day at our stage and guests are invited to dance or relax around our scenic grounds and in our comfortable buildings.  In addition to Alto Vineyards specialty grilled food prepared by our expert cooks, we offer varied food from food trucks. The day ends with one of the most spectacular display of fireworks in Southern Illinois by Falling Skies Pyrotechnics.

Cosmic Crossroads Eclipse Event

Please join us for a day of celebration of this historic, once in a life time, opportunity to experience the second complete solar eclipse to traverse southern Illinois within an unprecedented 7 year span. We offer a beautiful and spacious tasting room with entertainment and 5 acres of grounds and buildings with varied activities. Music will include Sones de Mexico Ensemble, Chicago’s premier Mexican folk music group from noon to the eclipse. https://youtu.be/rb0F7bEfro0?si=E9uhjpA4vUtSV6F5 . The concert will be broadcast live via Facebook and YouTube and is supported by grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, Illinois Arts Council Arts and Illinois Humanities Foreground Rural Initiative. A fandango will follow.
Following the eclipse, Leight July, a local favorite will play from 4:00 pm -7:00 pm (https://www.facebook.com/leightjulymusic/). We will feature a “Kids Corner’ for the young ones to engage in educational activities related to the eclipse.
We offer two options for admission: a general admission per vehicle to all the festivities (parking passes) and a limited VIP option on our scenic Vine Deck where you will receive food, wine, gifts, and special attention (SOLD OUT) . El Dia del Amor y la Amistad

Celebrate love and friendships all day with us. Enjoy hot and cold specialty sangrias and Mexican food by Chela Zamora. Colleen Springer-Lopez and special guest Edward Van Awken (playing love songs on the piano) will perform Mexican music from 2:00-5:00. The festivities will culminate in a special dance performance by Latin Rhythm & Flow. They will perform a Colombian folkloric number, a contemporary Latin number, and give a mini-audience lesson to close with everyone dancing.
