2018 marks 30 years of winemaking we’d love to have you, our Alto friends and family, join us for Alto’s 30th Anniversary Weekend. Celebrate Southern Illinois winemaking history and toast to the future at our three day festival with specialty wine releases, food, bands, and more!
– Toasted Crostini and house made Crackers w/ local herbed Quark Cheese, paired with 30th Anniversary Chardonel
– Fall Greens Salad with local toasted Pecans and local Apples with a Rosato Vinaigrette, paired with Vidal Blanc
– Main entreé of Braised Short Ribs marinated in red wine and fresh local Italian herbs (vegetarian option is Braised Tempe), served with local Polenta, local Mushrooms, and sauteed Squash, paired with your choice of 30th Anniversary Chambourcin or Norton
– Dessert of Zabaglione (a rich white wine custard) with macerated local Peaches and Blackberries, paired with 2017 Late Harvest Reserve Gold
We’ll also be enojying a secret bonus pairing with the Porto! Finish the night off dancing with jazz from The Jewels. Tickets for the Gala are $80 each (or $140 per couple) and will sell out soon!
